Cara Khan graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design in 2008 with a BFA in Computer Animation, where her senior thesis “The Clocktower” won several awards and shown at festivals across the world. Her work as a texture artist can be seen in the Dreamworks films Megamind, the Madagascar films and How to Train Your Dragon 2. She now lives in Florida, where she works as a look development and texture artist at the secretive startup Magic Leap.
Cara loves space, robots, the ocean, the trees, the clouds…everything beautiful and colorful and awesome in life. Wanting to make magic feel real, she creates detailed and dreamy paintings that focus on moving fantastical worlds and portraits.
