I love orchids. I like to buy them at the grocery store when they’re discounted because they’re done blooming. But put them in the right pot, in the right window, and they will bloom forever!

Good orchid pots have lots of holes. The roots love to search for things to hold onto - so when they’re just in a “normal” pot (and no hole either, ever) they rot, wilt, turn yellow… and you know. Setting you up for failure!

So when I go shopping for specific orchid pots at the nursey I’m always like… well i guess? They’re ok? They look like a good pot? But nothing that SPOKE to me. But you want to keep your plants living right, and you’re knowledgeable enough to know the kind of pot an orchid needs. so you get the OK pot and call it a day. But that was a good chunk of money and it wasn’t a Hell Yes.

When I started taking pottery I realized that I could make my own orchid pots. What does that look like? Well… it’s gonna be in my colors (blue, green, purple… every time) and probably be inspired by nature, space, something whimsical and maybe a little glam. But definitely unique.

These can be made to order in multiple sizes. Makes the perfect gift for the plant lover who might be a little bit witchy :) Pictured is a 6 inch pot - fits a regular sized grocery store orchid.
